The Staffordshire pottery figure is probably a goldfinch modeled perched on a tee trunk and well decorated in underglaze colors of mossy green, brown, ochre all from the range associated with Prattware. The figure has a charming sweetness and dates to the turn of the 18th century.

Dimensions: 5 inches high

Current Condition: Tiny chip at base

Provenance: Private collection Lambeth London and formerley with Jonathan Horne the important English Pottery dealer located in Kensington London.
