The cat is modeled sitting on a mottled hollow base and is made with a creamware body and decorated with dark brown and tan colored clay slips. The figure is press-molded in two sections. Shards with a similar body and decoration have been located at the site of the Indeo Pottery located at Bovey Tracey Devonshire, England. The cat has a cantankerous expression providing character and comedy.

Dimensions: 4.75 inches high, 3 inches wide

Current Condition: Very good condition with a minor invisible professional restoration at the back of the base
