An unusually large size lead glazed creamware bodied "Whieldon" pottery dish decorated with a tortoiseshell glaze and green and ochre carefully applied splodges. The wavy shaped rim is crisply relief molded with a husk pattern. It is unusual to find dishes of this scale and type in such condition.

Dimensions: 3 inches high, 16 inches wide

Current Condition: Good condition with fine and stable hairline at rim.
