A very rare pair of pearlware figures of a chimney sweep family riding donkeys. The female figure is holding up a hand mirror to her son's blackened sooty face. The sweep is modelled with a large bag of soot and holding his brushes and scrapers associated with his trade. The figures are modeled on a rococo shaped base.

Dimensions: 6 inches high

Current Condition: Some restoration

Literature: Myrna Schkolne, Volume 1 page 248 figure reference 29.34 where a similar pair are illustarted from the famous William and Nancy Hunt Collection.
