A very rare fine well coloured and modelled Blackman Toby Jug made in Staffordshire England in early part of 19th century. The jug is modelled with the figure holding a faoming jug of ale in both hands, in claret jacket with orange cuffs, blue breeches and black tricorn hat.The base has the inscription in script "T. Bournell London"which may be the name of the retailer.
