A fine earthenware pottery circular-shaped baking or loaf dish. The dish is strikingly decorated with three segments in a creamy colored slip with a fine quality lead glaze. The simplicity of the design gives a very contemporary feel to the dish, which would take it to place equally in a period or modernistic setting. The dish has the number 24 impressed into the base.
