Creamware pottery orange basket and cover impressed under base "wedgwood". This lower case mark dates the piece to c1775/85. The base is elaborately decorated with relief molded acanthus leaves and a scrolling ornate strap work design. The open trellis cover replicates this deign and features a flower head finial. The base has a stylish dual rope twist handles.
