A rare sized Bristol Pottery Farmhouse plate made in circa 1735. The plate is vibrantly enameled with a fancy peacock perched amongst sponge decorated trees within a blue lined rim. Age has not diminished the impact of the strongly rendered red, yellow, blue and green polychrome, a true gem.
