A fine English delftware Royal double portrait charger late 17th century Probably London or possibly Brislington. The dish is painted with full length images of King William 111 and his wife Queen Mary 11. The figures are standing side by side in coronation robes and holding a sceptre and orbe, Mary is holding a fan. Above the figures are the initials W R M and above a flock of birds, tress are decorated either side all surrounded by the classic blue dash border. The reverse of the dish is lead glazed and retains labels from the Gautier Collection and the Birkett Collection.

Diameter: 14 inches

Current Condition: Restored to chipping at rim minor re-touched glaze
