Current Condition: Fine condition with only minor restoration to scuffed glaze.
Literature: A similar piece formed part of the William Burton Collection re.Christies.
Plate ref.180 British Delft at Williamsburg by John C.Austin illustrates a dish from a group of similar King William pieces. Michael Archer compares to plate 164 and Archer-Morgan pp52-53 no 29 giving a strong English attribution of London or Brislington.
