A stunning massive English creamware pottery centre piece ( plate de menage) dating from the late 18th century period.
Made in four section it assembles to a height of nearly 30 inches and makes a dramatic stylish impact.
The dishes are pectin shaped, the top piece is adorned with a female figure and child.
Probably the work of Leeds Pottery Yorkshire it is a rare survivor from the age of elegance for wealthy socialites.
