Massive English pottery slipware loaf dish, antique period late 18th century

One of the largest circular slipware loaf dishes made at the latter end of the 18th century in England, almost 17 inches diameter. The dish is very decorative with its wonderful dark chocolate ground and well applied cream coloured slip. The dish is is unrestored with minor historical wear which only adds to the organic patination.

Diameter: 16.75 inches

Current Condition: Unrestored with no damage other than normal wear relevant to age.
