A fine antique pottery box from the Bristol Pottery with a profusion of hand painted flowers and leaves in the Fyfield manner. The condition of the enamels are a joy with virtually no abrasions or damages. The base has two compartments and the cover fits perfectly with an ingenious simple twist. The cover of the box (which was probably used for trinkets) has the initials DF in fine script. The condition and quality of the box is exceptional
