A very rare English pottery "Boot or Shoe Warmer" with fine aesthetic type decorations. The boot is a complete example with its separate heal. The insciption around Queen Victoria's Royal Crest reads "By Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent.......Health.....Comfort....Patent Boot drying and Warming Last. Queen Victoria often complained about her cold feet and it is probable that this inspired the making of this piece.
