A good example from this famous porcelain factory ( CHamberlain's of Worcester) pastille burner in the form of a romantic cottage. These elaborate and detailed pieces are sometimes refered to as "cottage ornee's". The pastille burner is complete with its original slider which was used for inserting the pastille cone. The modelling and gilt decoration is exceptionally well executed with strong attention to detail. Uncommon to find such a rare collectors decorative piece in fine original unrestored condition. A very stylish country house piece from an elegant period this pastille burner would have graced a fine home.
