A fine collection of English prattware pottery cradles with baby in swaddling. The pottery cradle was a popular form of wedding gift, the unsubtle hint implied by the gift is in no doubt. The rarest cradles are modelled with with the figure of a baby in the cradle, (rather than the more common empty cradles). The largest of these Prattware pottery examples is five inces long and the smallest in this group is four inches long. Prices vary from £400 to £800, a special deal will be made on the purchase of the Prattware group of five pieces. There are a further eight enamel coloured examples from the same collection totalling 13 pieces.
