Antique Staffordshire pottery figure of a ram standing with a recumbant buck ram. This rare figure emanted from the enigmatic Tittensor potterym located in Staffordshire. The figure is of a very high quality with underglaze Pratt type colours, a very good example from the Tittensor's. The output from the Tittensor pottery has a unique defined style, sometimes quite primitive in its execution but always with a wonderful folk charm. In many ways their work is one the truest forms of folk art from the Staffordshire potters in the circa 1780/1815 period.
