Antique pair of Staffordshire pottery figures with pearlware glaze and bright enamels. The pair of figures are a female archer and a rural sportsman with his trusty hound.

Dimensions: 7 inches high

Literature: Myrna Schkolne Book, People, Passions,Pastimes and Pleasures Staffordshire Figures 1810-35 page 196 Chapter 20 titled Archery. Several figures are illustrated. Chapter 20 is titled Shooting and various figures are again illustrated the figure on page 204 shows a similar figure to the pair on offer with the Archer.
