A rare antique pink lustre (luster ) pottery plaque with an underglaze transfer print of the English bard William Shakespeare. The plaque is impressed on the back Moore and Co. Interestingly and appealing Shakspeare is misspelt on the print.It is thought that the plaque would have been made to commemorate the tri centenary of Shakespeare's birth.

Dimensions: 8.5 inches high, 7.5 inches wide
