The Staffordshire pottery bust depicts Minerva, the goddess of wisdom. The imposing modeling and finely applied enamels over the pearlware glaze are remarkably compelling. The back of the socle base impressed MINERVA.

Current Condition: Restored tip of helmet, plume and at the neck
