Dated: 1750 to 1775 probably Staffordshire or Midlands England

This is a good decorative earthenware circular draining dish( 12.5" diameter) dated to the mid-18th century. It has an expressive and vitally applied buff-colored trailing slip pattern on an orange-brown ground. The edge of the dish is a pie crust type. The dish has a bespoke acrylic hanger to facilitate wall display.

Provenance: Previoulsy with Alistair Sampson Knightsbridge and then with private collection Kensington London.
