This Sunderland pink luster wall plaque, known as Chantrey, shows a romantic scene inspired by Sir Walter Scott's novel Waverley. The deeply modeled pink luster faux frame and the underglaze transfer print are exceptional, representing one of the best-quality pieces of its type. The plaque was made at Moores Wearside Pottery in  Southwick, Sunderland
