This rare pearlware glazed figure of a Messenger Boy depicts him blowing a bugle and standing dressed in uniform with a peaked cap arm on his hip. The distinctive bocage with five flowers is unique to the Dale Pottery Staffordshire. This figure is expressive and impressively decorated with good-quality colored enamels and stands 8 inches high.

Current Condition: Professionally restored at some tips of leaves, bugle and arm.
