Original Set of the FOUR SEASONS with Robert Wilson impressed marks Staffordshire late 18th century

This is an original Four Seasons set made at the Robert Wilson Pottery Staffordshire. They are impressed under the base with his mark "G and a crown." The figures represent Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter and are decorated with high-quality enamels over well-executed modeling.  Robert Wilson partnered with James Neale at the Church Works Hanley and acquired the pottery from him in 1789.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high

Current Condition: Autumn is professionally restored at neck and chip at the hat. Otherwise in good condition with only minor wear in accord with age.

Provenance: Previously with Jonathan Horne Kensington London and then with a private USA Collection.
