A naive pottery pearlware glazed model of a saddled red and black mottled horse standing on a wafer-thin pale green sponge decorated base. The horse is bridled and wears a maroon-bordered and white blanket with a wavy blue zig-zag pattern secured by a mustard-colored band. Attributed to St.Anthony's Pottery Newcastle upon Tyne in the early 19th century.  

Dimensions: 6 inches high 7 inches long

Current Condition: Restored at ear and ankles by Conservator of Ceramics to the British Royal Family..
