This is a highly decorative and elegant pair of pearlware oval-formed baskets painted blue with original covers and stands. The relief molding and pierced decoration are of the highest quality, and the painting is finely and delicately applied. The finial on the covers features an eagle alighting onto a nest with eggs.

Current Condition: Restored minor hairline at the rim of one basket and at a break at the rim of one cover otherwise in very good condition..
