This blue-painted delftware tile is boldly decorated with a male potter standing at his wheel. Probably Rotherhithe or Pickle Herring delftworks LondonĀ  mid-17th century.  

Dimensions: 5 inches high 5 inches long

Current Condition: No restoration with nibbles at the rim.

Literature: Tin Glazed Tiles from London edited by Ian Betts and Rosemary Weinstein page 5 re. nail holes..
