A fine pearlware glazed pottery plate with an underglaze blue and white transfer print of Queen Caroline and the inscription " LONG LIVE QUEEN CAROLINE QUEEN OF ENGLAND." This commemorative plate shows the popular Queen wearing an elaborate headdress with large feathers, a style with which she became associated. The plate is decorated with a blue shell-feather edge and is in remarkably crisp condition.
