A good-sized Staffordshire pottery stoneware white salt-glazed tureen with original cover and stand. The piece is relief decorated in the "Husk Pattern," the lid with a fruit finial, and the feet molded as mask faces and paws. A set of this pattern was acquired by George Washington.

Dimensions: 14 inches long

Current Condition: The cover has an original firing detail which has incurred a minor warp at the inner rim.
