A rare pair of Staffordshire pottery pearlware figures of Venus and Neptune standing on green rocky shell festooned table bases with a dolphin at their backs. The decoration of the base with blue and enamel colors is an unusual feature, adding to the engaging and compelling display. The pair are made at the " Obadiah Sherratt Pottery" and are outstanding decorative examples.  

Dimensions: 10 inches high

Current Condition: Restored, at feet on table bases chips on some shells and re-touched enamels. Neptune at, arm, Venus head , arm and cupids arm

Provenance: Private Collection of a lady near Manchester England
