The English delftware tazza or stand is elegantly formed and has three bulbous feet and a wavy rim edge. It is well decorated in blue and white with a central panel and a flower head surrounded by four floral motifs. The border is decorated with a continuous acanthus leaf pattern and was made in London, probably at the Vauxhall delftworks.
