Antique Staffordshire pottery figure of a lion standing on a base with a paw resting on a ball made in the early 19th century. The figure is well coloured with a good pearlware glaze and dates to the early 19th century England. The application of the blue decoration around the base is especially appealing.

Dimensions: 5.5 inches high, 5.5 inches wide, 2.5 inches long

Current Condition: Professional restoration at the tail.
