A rare redware earthenware pitcher with a bib of clear glaze, post-medieval 16th century. Items of this type were used extensively in London for wine or beer. The body is in exceptionally good condition, the handle has been reattached at some point. Possibly early borderware, the piece was excavated in London.

Dimensions: 10 inches high, 7.25 inches wide, 6.75 inches long

Current Condition: Handle reattached.

Provenance: Private Collection Sussex England and previously with Jonathan Horne London.
