This posset pot with cover probably made at the Brislington or Bristol delftworks at the beginning of the 18th century. The high body and dome-shaped cover painted with red, blue, and green oriental type flower and leaf sprays beneath a formal scroll border. The two strap-shaped handles the thinly modeled spout are detailed with blue stripes. This highly decorative English delftware pot is attractively shaped and painted.

Dimensions: 9.25 inches high

Current Condition: Professional and good restoration at the tip of the spout, hairline at body and rim of the cover.
