A very rare and fine quality creamware pottery tureen with cover and stand made last quarter of the 18th century in Staffordshire or Yorkshire. The three pieces have good reticulated decoration and exquisite flowers and leaves applied in enanel colours. The cover finial features a child holding a basket of leaves,fruit and a flower head. A gilt anchor mark is located on the back of the stand.

Dimensions: 5.75 inches high, 9.5 inches wide, 8 inches long

Current Condition: Restored chipping at handles of base.
