A rare and charming pottery money bank with a bird perched on top. The money box is inscribed " Maria Hopkins 1860" and "a present from Wm.Squire Bickerton. The side of the boxes are decorated with incised "x" connecting marks A great piece of folk art with a good honey glaze . Possibly Ewenny Pottery South Wales or West England Devon.
