Antique saltglaze stoneware cream jug with cover. This gem of a piece is wonderfully decorated with a green ground and a pink rose with leaves. Chevrons in black are also an interesting feature which are applied to the green ground. The potting and decoration on this little piece are exceptional and is a testament to the Staffordshire potters art in the mid 18th century.
